Chicago Dog Challenge Description and Prizes
– A Chicago-style hot dog, Chicago Dog, or Chicago Red Hot is an all-beef frankfurter on a poppy seed bun, originating from the city of Chicago, Illinois.
– Brick & Ivy Rooftop is the best sports bar in Altoona, Iowa, serving up Jumbo Chicago Hot Dogs.
– It is a Chicago Cubs themed restaurant, named after the brick and ivy at Wrigley Baseball Field.
– For this food challenge, there is a one sitting time limit to eat 8 of their Jumbo Chicago Dogs.
– Each has a 1/4lb jumbo beef hot dog topped with yellow mustard, sweet green pickle relish, onion, sport peppers, diced tomatoes, and a fried pickle spear. The fried pickles are delicious!!
– Each is served in a genuine poppy seed bun from Chicago, completely loaded with toppings.
– Winners receive the $30 hot dog meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame.
– The top three fastest times have a special Wall of Fame board hanging up in the restaurant.
