Burger Challenge Description and Prizes
– Hollow Spirits Distillery in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico is a restaurant as well!!
– The most popular menu items are their tacos, Elote Mexican street corn, and 50/50 burgers.
– For this challenge, there are two 2lb 50/50 beef burger patties stacked and layered with lots of Cheddar cheese. There is plenty of bacon served on top with New Mexican green chilies too.
– The burger patties are made with 50% beef short rib and brisket, and then 50% beef chorizo.
– There are two over-easy fried eggs on top with Chipotle mayo on the top and bottom bun.
– They use a giant freshly baked sourdough bun and the challenge includes a portion of fries topped with shredded parmesan cheese and bacon bits. There is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything. The Old-Fashioned cocktail and alcohol drank in this video was optional and just to promote Hollow Spirits.
– Winners earn the $98 cheeseburger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame!!
