Hot Dog Challenge Description and Prizes
– Porgie’s Hotdog & Soda Shoppe was opened in 2021 in dedication to George (Porgie) Berry. He was a big man with an even bigger personality. Porgie loved camping, watching old westerns, and listening to American Trilogy by Elvis. He was the kind of person who would be proud of anything dedicated to him. His son Chris and Chris’ wife Emilie love that they are able to keep his memory and spirit alive by sharing some of his favorite things with their community. Porgie’s forte is specialty hot dogs, barbeque, handmade sodas, and ice cream.
– For this “Georgie Porgie” Hot Dog Challenge, challengers have 1 full hour to feast on 8 of the 16 specialty hot dogs on the menu plus a 1lb order of either loaded BBQ tots or loaded chili cheese fries. The challenge also includes a large fountain drink of your choice plus desserts – a funnel cake w/ powdered sugar, some deep-fried Oreo’s, and deep-fried banana bites.
– Winners earn the $75 hot dogs meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Porgie’s Wall of Fame.
