Burrito Challenge Description and Prizes
There is a “larger than life” burrito made with fries, Queso Oaxaca, guacamole, sour cream, Pico de Gallo, Mexican rice, queso dip, black beans and marinated carne asada. It is served wet and topped with cheese, and there is just a 12 minute time limit to finish everything. Winners get the $34.95 burrito meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Big Sur’s Wall of Fame.
Note: The size depends on who you are and whoever makes the burrito. Some challenges have just involved a ~3-3.5lb burrito without any fries on the side. Some challenge platters have had fries as well. If they consider you a pro with experience, you will likely get a burrito ~150% bigger than usual, so it’s a tougher challenge. The burrito is delicious, but try to promote the restaurant via a YouTube channel and other social media, and they will make it harder for you, so there is less time to actually promote the food and establishment. Makes sense, right?
