Parmo Challenge Description and Prizes
– Central Park Restaurant and Bar has been serving the Middlesbrough area for over 37 years!!
– This delicious 5lb double chicken parmo challenge has been available for the past 10 years.
– Parmo, or Teesside Parmesan, is a dish originating in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, and a popular item of take-away food in the Teesside area. It consists of a breaded cutlet of chicken or pork topped with a white béchamel sauce and cheese, usually cheddar cheese.
– The Teesside Chicken Parmo is ranked by pro eater Randy Santel as England’s best tasting food!!
– The base challenge features 2 giant chicken parmos served with lots of chips plus mushrooms, some fried onion rings, and a bowl of healthy vegetable salad. There is a 45 minute time limit to finish everything.
– Fail to finish the base challenge within 45 minutes, and you owe £25. Winners only have to pay £20 and they also earn a sweet t-shirt plus a spot on Café Central Park’s Wall of Fame.
