Challenge Description and Prizes
For the base challenge, there is a 45 minute time limit for teams of two people to eat a 1-topping 30″ diameter pizza, or one person can try to finish Maine’s largest pizza solo within 90 minutes (1.5 hours). Challengers must keep the pizza down for at least 10 minutes after they are finished, to officially win the challenge. You cannot go to the bathroom or leave the table once the timer has started. The whole pizza weighs between 11 and 12 pounds, depending on toppings, and costs between $50 and $75, depending on toppings. Note: The base 1-topping pizza costs $50 and weighs closer to 11 lbs. Winners receive the pizza free plus sweet T-shirts and Wall of Fame!!
