Burger Challenge Description and Prizes

– The Pennant is the place for heavenly food and delightful drinks. Killer burgers, scrumptious salads, mouth-watering milkshakes and more. All of this with a focus on using local ingredients and supporting their local Topeka community.

– The Pennant is also the place for a great time. Grab your quarters and head upstairs to over 50 vintage arcade games. Take an electronic trip down memory lane with Pac-Man, Galaga, Pole Position and the crowd favorite, Skee-Ball. Or, hangout in the beer garden overlooking Kansas Avenue and the coming soon Cyrus Hotel. Maybe bowling is your jam, so head downstairs and jump on one of our four bowling alleys. Don’t worry, they can always put the bumpers up if you need them. The Pennant. Come for the great food and drinks, stay to play!

– This “El Gigante” has a 30 minute time limit to finish a gigantic burger served with some fries.

– There is a giant 3.5lb beef burger patty topped with 8 thick-cut strips of bacon plus a Thai peanut sauce and lots of wild berry jam. It’s all placed on a football-shaped bun. The challenge includes an order of French fries. The poutine gravy and cheese Randy added in photos were both optional.

– This is a pay-to-play food challenge. Everyone pays $50 for the hamburger meal. Winners get a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame. Losers get a shirt proclaiming they failed and a picture posted on the Wall of Shame. Could you finish this whole hamburger challenge in 30 minutes??
