Pasta Challenge Description and Prizes
– There is a 1 hour time limit to finish a giant 8 lb bowl of PK Oyster Bar’s “Voodoo” Seafood Pasta that is equivalent to 6 normal-sized portions of the pasta they regularly serve as part of their menu.
– There is roughly 42 oz of cooked pasta noodles served with lots of grilled chicken, 42 pieces of shrimp, lots of diced andouille sausage, spicy Voodoo cream sauce, dried red pepper flakes, and then some healthy vegetables too. The “Trinity” is included which consists of green/red peppers, celery pieces, and onions. There is lots of diced tomatoes served on top, and the whole dish weighs around 8 pounds, 3 ounces.
– Winners receive the $200 bowl of pasta free and get a sweet T-Shirt plus a spot on the Wall of Fame.
