Afternoon Tea Challenge Description and Prizes
– Take 5 Tea Room has been proudly serving the Lincoln, Lincolnshire area for many years now.
– Take 5 Tea Room offers an English breakfast fry up challenge and this British afternoon tea.
– There is a 30 minute time limit to finish everything served on their double-layer serving platter.
– There are 4 sandwich halves – egg and mayo (egg salad), grated cheese, ham, and pulled pork.
– There are some healthy vegetables served like a salad on top with healthy fruit on the bottom.
– There is a Scotch egg, a sausage roll, a fruit scone, Quiche Lorraine, pork pies, and there is also a few crackers served with 2 different cheeses. The challenge includes a bowl of prawn crisps / chips and challengers must finish the sides of butter, fruit jam, and clotted cream.
– You cannot have afternoon tea without some cake, so there is a slice of caramel Millionaire’s Shortbread plus a French Fancy and piece of Cherry Bakewell cake. Challengers must also finish a cup of coffee or Yorkshire tea.
– Winners receive the £20 afternoon tea meal free plus a coveted spot on their Wall of Fame.
